Italian Food & Culture Tour
Our Tried & True
This itinerary brings together Italy’s food and culture, shaped by Francesca’s roots in Emilia-Romagna and Puglia.
We start in Emilia-Romagna, home to Parmigiano Reggiano, handmade pasta, and traditional balsamic vinegar. In Modena, visit a family-run acetaia before heading to Bologna, where meals and history are always shared.
Then it’s on to Puglia for seafood, fresh flavors, and time on the coast, beaches, boats, and the slower rhythm of southern life.
Our trips in Italy are all customizable. We have experience everywhere, from the Dolomites to Sicily, with Rome and the smaller towns along the way. Each itinerary is shaped around what you want to see and do. But some things never change: the food, the culture, and the everyday life that make Italy unforgettable.
Morocco Medinas & Sahara
This tour centers around the beauty of Morocco’s riads and the stillness of the Sahara.
Begin in Marrakesh, where you’ll stay in a riad inside the medina. Between exploring the souks, gardens, and palaces, there’s time to retreat into courtyards filled with tiled fountains and shaded terraces. Evenings bring the magic of Jemaa el-Fnaa square, alive with music, food, and storytelling.
From there, journey into the Sahara. Cross the dunes by camel, spend the night in a luxury desert camp surrounded by stars.
The trip finishes in Fez, where life in the old medina carries on much as it has for centuries. Wander through markets and artisan workshops by day, and return each night to the calm of your riad, where Moroccan hospitality turns each stay into an experience of its own.
Clients describe this trip as the perfect balance of discovery and rest, immersed in culture, but always with space to slow down and take it all in.
Southern Africa Exploration & Safari
With much of our team having lived in the region, this itinerary draws on local knowledge and personal experience.
The journey begins with a week in Cape Town. Ride the cable car up Table Mountain, stand at Cape Point where two oceans meet, and relax on the beaches of Camps Bay. Visit the penguins at Boulders Beach, wander the colorful streets of Bo-Kaap, and explore the city’s vibrant downtown. A day in the Winelands rounds it out with tastings among historic vineyards.
From Cape Town, head out on a five-day safari. Whether in Kruger, Hwange, or a private reserve, spend your days on game drives tracking elephants, lions, and other wildlife, with evenings by the fire under star-filled skies.
The trip ends at Victoria Falls, where the Zambezi River thunders into one of the world’s great natural wonders. Explore the viewpoints, take a sunset cruise, or just take in the scale and beauty.
Again and again, our travelers tell us the same thing: this is a life-changing trip.
New Zealand, Nature Wine & Coastlines Tour
This itinerary is built around New Zealand’s coastlines, culture, and natural beauty – balanced with time to relax.
The journey begins in Christchurch, before moving along the southern coast with opportunities to explore by water and visit a penguin conservation site. Walks and coastal drives highlight the dramatic scenery, while visits to gardens and historic landmarks add a cultural layer.
In the wine region of Central Otago, long lunches and tastings are paired with striking landscapes. Time in Fiordland offers the chance to experience one of New Zealand’s most spectacular environments at an easy pace, with cruises and short walks available.
The itinerary also includes days by alpine lakes and in small towns known for their charm, with a free day set aside to spend as you choose. Toward the end of the trip, you’ll see New Zealand’s glaciers and valleys before returning to Christchurch.
Clients often describe this journey as the right mix of nature, culture, and comfort – an accessible way to experience New Zealand’s highlights without rushing.
